Questions

How far will you travel?

Within 20 miles of Sanford, Florida. The appointment ZIP code's center must fall inside that radius; check yours above. The exact address is confirmed before your invoice is sent. Outside the area, online notarization works from anywhere for $40.

What does a mobile notary cost?

Florida caps the notarial fee at $10 for each notarial act (§117.05(2)(a), F.S.). Two signers on one document is two acts. Travel is a flat round-trip charge by county: $72 in Seminole, $94 in Orange, $110 in Lake, and $175 in Volusia. Rush and after-hours charges apply only when the time triggers them.

Can you notarize at a hospital, rehab center, or nursing home?

Yes. Call first so the visit can be cleared with the facility. The signer must be alert, able to communicate, and able to sign or direct a signature. If not, the act cannot lawfully be performed, and you are told that on the phone rather than charged for a trip.

What if the signer cannot sign their name?

Florida allows a signature by mark, and a signature made by the notary at the signer's direction, with two disinterested witnesses present (§117.05(14), F.S.). Witnesses cannot be named in or benefit from the document.

Do you perform marriage ceremonies?

Yes, in person within the service area. The fee is $30 plus county travel (§117.045, F.S.). Bring the marriage license issued by a Florida county clerk.
