Background

Gordon Adkins served 20 years in the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer running tactical teams. After retiring from the Navy, he transitioned into Florida-licensed civilian work focused on areas where document integrity, sworn statements, and chain of custody matter — private investigation and insurance adjusting.

The notary practice is the natural extension of that work. A notary's job — verifying identity, witnessing signatures, maintaining a defensible record — is a chain-of-custody discipline. Gordon brings the same standards to a hospital bedside POA signing that he brings to a sworn deposition statement in a fraud investigation.

Why the Multi-License Background Matters for Notary Work

Most notary services are commodity vendors. Mobile Mark Notary is different in three concrete ways:

• Document defensibility. Every notarial act is performed with awareness that the resulting document may end up in litigation. Journal entries are complete. ID verification is rigorous. RON sessions are conducted to a standard that survives a deposition challenge.
